God's Gift of Salvation
is for Sinners Only!
Mark
2:17
When
Jesus
heard
it, he
saith
unto
them,
They
that
are
whole
have
no
need
of
the
physician,
but
they
that
are
sick:
I came
not
to
call
the
righteous,
but
sinners
to
repentance.
The
Gospel
(good
news)
of
salvation
in
Christ
is
only
for
self-judged,
condemned
sin -
ners.
A
sinner
is one
who
dis
obeys
and
breaks
God’s
law.
The
Gospel
is for
sinners
who
real -
ize
their
need
for
salvation
from
their
lost
sinful
condition.
The
Gospel
is for
the
broken-hearted
guilty
sinner
like
Paul
who
realizes
that
he is
condemned
before
the
Holy
God. 1
Timothy
1:15
This
is a
faithful
saying,
and
worthy
of all
acceptation,
that
Christ
Jesus
came
into
the
world
to
save
sinners,
of
whom I
am
chief.
My View of Dr. Gail E. Terrell
Many
of us
know
that
the
fossils
teach
us
“God
Judges
Sin!”
I
learned
that
from
Dad,
too.
How
about
Genesis
7:11
and
the
popping
of the
Balloon?
I
heard
that
“pop”
so
many
times
I
became
immune
to
jumping
at the
bang.
I
remember
when
Dad
was
debating
an
evolutionist
on TV
in
West
Virginia.
He
popped
his
infamous
balloon
and a
woman
who
was
sleeping
jumped
sky
high
and
threw
her
eyeglasses
three
rows
back.
The
woman
was
the
wife
of the
evolutionist
Dad
was
debating.
See
even
she
was
bored
by
evolution.
It
took a
creationist
to
wake
her
up!
Dad was
extremely
intelligent, but
he was
not
boisterous
about
it.You
could
ask
him
anything
at
anytime
and he
would
have
an
answer
on
everything;
you
may
not
always
like
the
answer,
and
more
than
likely,
it was
the
correct
answer
and
based
on
God’s
Word.
